Krassi Ivanchev: Professional chorus conductor, pianist, experienced director and music teacher with practice in Sofia and New York. Artistic Director of the Gergana Children’s Chorus since 2006 and the Men’s and Mixed Chorus since their inception. Currently President, Gergana Board of Directors.
Valentin Hadjiyski: Philosopher and historian, PhD in Philosophy (BAS), MBA (Cal State). Formerly BAS scholar, MFA and UN diplomat, consul; now journalist. Gergana teacher of Bulgarian, history and geography; writer, translator, logistics manager. Neofit Rilski award for 2016.
Iliyana Dimitrova: Experienced high school and college teacher of Bulgarian, Russian and English, graduated in languages and literature from Sofia University, expert in the methodology of language teaching. In 2016-2017 academic year, teaching Bulgarian to first, third, fourth and fifth graders.
Emilia Ivanova: Experienced high school and elementary school teacher holding a M.A. from Sofia University in German, English and early childhood education. Teaches Bulgarian language and literature, history and geograhy.
Lora Al-Ahmad: Piano and Composition М.А. student at Mannes College-The New School of Мusic, studying with Prof. Pavlina Dokovska. Lora is a concert pianist, has won international competitions and is Gergana's Children’s Chorus, Mixed Chorus and music theater class pianist and music theater class teacher.
Nadezhda Staneva: Graduated in choreography and education from the St. Petersburg (Russia) State University of Culture and Arts. Award-winning choreographer, dance teacher in Bulgarian preschools and community youth culture centers, including as director. Teaches ballet, contemporary, ballroom and Bulgarian folk dance classes.
Dima Varlamova O'Keefe: Designer and educator. Graduated Parsons, The New School for Design, New York, and UNWE, Sofia. Designer for Elie Tahari, Michael Kors, Tommy Hilfiger, Vince Camuto, Eliza J. Assistant Professor in Fashion Design at Parsons. Teaches applied arts for children and crocheting for adults. Design and production of Dance Studio costumes and the Gergana logo.
Blagomira Lipari: Doctor of Musical Arts in violin performance and orchestral conducting who has appeared as a soloist with the National Academy of Music Orchestra and Orfei Chamber Orchestra (Bulgaria), and New Millennium Orchestra (Chicago), and won the International Chamber Music Competition in Neerpelt, Belgium. Violin professor and music ensemble director at Sherwood-Columbia College in Chicago and Hobart William Smith College in New York, adjunct professor of chamber music at Mannes College - New School University, New York. Rhythmic gymnastics coach in Syracuse, NY. Teaches the music theater class and rhythmic gymnastics.
Stefka Evstatieva: Internationally renowned opera soprano who has performed leading roles at most major theaters of the world, including Metropolitan Opera in New York. Gergana Chorus co-founder and vocal coach of the Children’s, Men’s and Mixed Chorus since their inception (2004 - 2017). Currently on the Board of Directors
Magdalena Dushkina: Concert pianist, church music director and piano teacher. Holds a Master of Music with honors from Manhattan School of Music and Bachelor of Music from Mannes College. Gergana Children’s Chorus pianist (2012-14) and music editor, teaching the music theater class (2014 - 2017). Currently on the Board of Directors
Boryana Yordanova: Professional rhythmic gymnast, Bulgarian National Team member (2004-2009), World Cup and national champion; rhythmic gymnastics coach. BS (Marketing) and MBA (International Business) from St. John’s University. Teacher of rhythmic gymnastics, gymnastics, and yoga (2013 - 2017).
